Eliodomestico is a solar household still for the developing countries.
The Eliodomestico is a solar household for the developing countries to help people with the problem of lacking of drinkable water. This project is intended to bring good water to the families at no operating cost starting from the sea water. Transform sea water to drinkable water for people.
ABOUT THE DESIGN PROCESS
The upper part is a black boiler with a water tight gap. Then it has an water fillet where you have to pour the salt water in the morning. In the upper boiler the temperature growsand also the pressure. The generated steam is forced to go down the a metal steam. The upper boiler works as a condenser so it turns the steam into fresh water. At the end of the day you just have to collect the water and carry it home.
WHY IT INSPIRES?
This project inspired me , because it helps people in countries like Africa to have drinkable water in their life . This is one of the most import issues of our century.
The product is still under development and I think it has to become a more mass production and also in bigger scale , like make it for a whole village so it provides water for all the people not only , for example for one family.
