A room that through community, integrity, and education can help solve issues such as security. A space that brings people together in order to improve the day to day lives of the residence whilst also insuring the well-being of the next generation’s future.

With the goal of bringing as many people together as possible
in mind, we intend on making the room as multifunctional as possible – suitable for all ages, cultures and activities. We are also keen to allow the residence to

give their own personal touch by including customisable features. We endeavour to use as many existing materials as possible (eg. wood, tables, chairs, donated board games etc.) but also reduce costs by using cheap plywood designs, such as trellis table legs, for much of the space.

By focusing on the core needs of the residence at Bligny 42 we wish to bring a large number of people to the space and in turn give them the tools to improve the community in the ways that they see fit.
